Dear paper cutters of the world,

*
The Kirie no Mori Cut Paper Art Museum has announced its second International cut paper competition and art show. With the success of 2013’s 342 entries and 200 finalists selected for exhibition, they are excited to once again invite artists from around the world to further share the art of cut paper design. By showcasing the varied talents and styles of artists worldwide, the museum hopes to promote the interest and exploration of this art form with the world. All artists working with cut paper are eligible to enter. I think that you should consider this wonderful opportunity to share your original artworks.
This year, the competition will culminate with the selection of 50 top artworks to be displayed in the museum from July to November 2016.

Prizes:

Grand Prize (1) 300,000 Japanese yen.

Second Place (1) 100,000 Japanese yen.

Student Grand Prize (1) 100,000 Japanese yen.
