Gunjan Aylawadi is a talented paper artist based in Sydney, Australia. After extensive exploration and experimentation, she came up with a unique method of paper cutting and curling that I am so excited to share with you today. Gunjan carefully applies  layers of curled paper on her designs drawn by hand, which results in a beautiful textured surface that doesn’t look like paper at all.

“What I enjoy most about making my work is the experience people have when they look at it. They stop for a moment to have a closer look and the moment turns into long minutes of being fascinated by the beauty a simple medium like paper can add to the work in front of their eyes”.
