Yay, new blog!! Congrats, it’s beautiful, neat and really inspiring. I love the new papercut patterns and the tutorial is also very good, simple and effective.
And wow, Elsa, it’s a fantastic piece!Amazing! I’d love to be able to see it in person. It’s very rich and fun to look, so many things to find in there. I like the way you did the flowers, the colors and the paper too gives a delicate texture, and all those little houses… I’d love to live in a place like that! The girl with the bird is so beautiful.
I’m curious, what is it size?
Thank you, Glaucia! Your comment makes me happy. This piece measures about 11″x14″. Have a great day!

Your work is astonishing, from the header to the utter wonder of the tiny houses in the larger piece you shared. An inspired act, a blog dedicated to the paper cutting arts. To stop here is like a vacation from reality overload. xo

Your work is utterly beautiful and I’m delighted to subscribe to your new blog. I look forward to reading more posts. Would you have time, someday, to post about your process? I’d love to know what is cut by hand, and what you might use a cutting machine for (if indeed you do use a cutting machine).
Thanks a lot, Keet! Yes, one of the things on my list is to blog about my process. I normally use an X-Acto knife for cutting and other times I use scissors, depending on the type of work I’m doing. So far I haven’t used a cutting machine. But one of my dreams in the future is to try to cut large pieces with a laser cutting machine. That would be fu!
